Esther Mahlangu — Solo Exhibition

In 2023, Dr Esther Mahlangu presented a solo exhibition at Almine Rech in London, her second solo with the gallery's European programme following her 2021 presentation in Paris.

The exhibition brought together new paintings that reaffirmed the precision and vitality of Ndebele geometric design as rendered on canvas. Presented within one of the contemporary art world's leading gallery networks, the show extended Dr Mahlangu's reach to international collectors and institutions.

The London exhibition followed a growing programme of solo presentations with Almine Rech across Paris, London and beyond.
